  1. So good to have you back podcasting, I still have the old ones downloaded onto my computer. Not being a big fan of Star Trek TNG I'm really enjoying Picard and can't wait to see how the story develops. Also loved the Mandolorian as well and definitely recommend watching that.

On the book front I will have to give Strange the Dreamer a go, have you tried the Invisible Library series by Genevieve Cogman? I tend to use bookbub for finding general books to read on my tablet and have come across a few good series through them.

Looking forward to the next podcast.

    1. Hi Rob! I have read the first of the Invisible Library series, I need to read more as I enjoyed it. One of the highlights of my day is the Bookbub email. Some of the blurbs are so fabulously nuts I read at least one out per day at work to make the staff laugh! Thanks so much for watching and commenting I REALLY appreciate it!

Notes for the Youtube Episode Jan 23

I wrote a blog on the old SFX website on the Tenth Kingdom that I mention in the latest ep of Whittle Waffle on the Youtube. I can not find it but I am a horrific hoarder and found the original copy. Yes I am that person. This is the very brief blog I wrote about it :   Ten Years Of The 10 th Kingdom   Recently I re-watched the entire 7 hour extravaganza that is The 10 th Kingdom.   Shockingly – to me anyway this programme is coming up to being 10 years old, how did that happen?   This programme – for those that haven’t seen it, is a wonderful story set in the 9 Kingdoms of fairytale. Snow White, Cinderella and Red Riding Hood were real people who lived in this alternate world. A young woman and her father accidently get sucked into this magical place through a magic mirror and go on an amazing adventure trying to find their way back home, and end up finding so much more.   How does it hold up after ten years? Pretty blimmin well actually, the ef...

Un Cover ed!

I can finally reveal the cover of Into the Woods:A Fairytale Anthology. It's by the wonderful Andy Bloor with colours by Steven Howard. I think it's utterly beautiful and hope you do too!
